At the end of the negotiations at the highest level, the signing ceremony of bilateral documents took place.
Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev signed an agreement on the establishment of the Supreme Interstate Council between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In addition, 15 documents were adopted during the visit at the level of states, governments and departments of the two countries.
These include the Roadmap for Deepening Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for 2023-2024, Agreements on further Deepening cooperation in the Energy Sector, on cooperation in the fields of youth policy and Sports, and the Roadmap for the Development of Cooperation in the Media Sphere.
In addition, additions and amendments have been made to the Agreement on Visa-free Travel of Citizens, agreements have been reached on cooperation in the field of the introduction of an information system for the electronic exchange of permit forms "E-permit", in the field of culture, in the field of family and child protection, in the field of food safety, and memorandums of cooperation have been signed between the secretariats of the Security Council, in the field of cybersecurity and others.
These documents will contribute to the deepening of practical cooperation in a number of promising areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
