The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkey discussed topical issues of multifaceted cooperation

On July 31, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Topical issues of further expansion of Uzbek-Turkish multifaceted cooperation and strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership relations were discussed.

The progressive dynamics of practical cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as fruitful contacts between the regions of the two countries were noted with great satisfaction.

The importance of promoting new industrial cooperation projects, including in the energy, mining, food, textile and other industries, was emphasized.

The schedule of upcoming joint events, including the holding of the next meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council at the highest level, was considered.

There was also an exchange of views on issues of the regional agenda.
