The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkey discussed issues of further deepening of strategic partnership

Issues of further deepening of Uzbek-Turkish relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and expansion of multifaceted practical cooperation were discussed during a telephone conversation between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, held on July 24.

The Head of Turkey cordially congratulated the leader of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing good health, well-being and great success, peace and prosperity to the Uzbek people.

The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey reviewed the implementation of the agreements at the highest level. We paid special attention to the importance of careful preparation of the next meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council.

The importance of joint development of a new portfolio of promising industrial cooperation projects of leading companies and enterprises of the two countries in various sectors of the economy was noted.

There was also an exchange of views on topical issues of the regional agenda.
