The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia held a telephone conversation

During the July 24 telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, topical issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Russian leader cordially congratulated the head of our state on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, prosperity and success in state activities for the sake of sustainable development and prosperity of Uzbekistan.

The two heads of state discussed issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial trade, economic and investment cooperation, maintaining the dynamics of trade turnover and promoting significant industrial cooperation projects.

The importance of continuing fruitful contacts and exchanges at the interregional level was also noted.

The sides exchanged views on topical issues of the regional agenda.
