The heads of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Head of Kazakhstan cordially congratulated the leader of Uzbekistan on his confident victory in the presidential elections, wishing further success, well-being and prosperity.

The progressive dynamics of the development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance in accordance with the agreements reached at the highest level was noted with particular satisfaction. The volume of mutual trade is growing, important investment and humanitarian programs are being implemented.

Important attention is paid to the further promotion of joint projects of trade and economic cooperation.

The sides exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda and regional cooperation. The schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events was also considered.
