The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will pay an official visit to Iran

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to this country on June 18 at the invitation of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi.

The program of stay in the city of Tehran provides for the holding of high–level meetings by the head of our state - with the President of Iran Ibrahim Raisi and the Supreme Leader of the country Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.

During the talks, topical issues of further development of Uzbek-Iranian multifaceted relations and practical cooperation in priority areas will be considered. There will be an exchange of views on the regional agenda.

During the visit, it is planned to sign bilateral documents aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran.
