The Head of State got acquainted with the work done, talked with the chairman and representatives of the mahalla.
– We have implemented a “system of five” in the mahalla and provided it with ample opportunities. Today, the mahalla is a bridge between the population and the state. The fairer, more transparent, and stronger this bridge is, the happier our people will be," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
More than 6,7 thousand people live in the mahalla. Local youth work in more than ten consumer service points and over a hundred shops. Conditions have been created for meaningful leisure of the population.
The Head of State also got acquainted with the activities of the management service company "Yangi Zhangoh", which serves 52 multi-storey buildings in the mahalla. 24 specialists and special equipment are always ready. A sincere conversation with the residents took place.
- We have been carrying out all the transformations in the mahalla since the first day of our activity. Because this is the system closest to people. The landscaping carried out in your mahalla is an example of that. Such work is being carried out not only in Tashkent, but also in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Kashkadarya, everywhere. Our people are a fair judge. Today, everyone in our country feels positive changes. Now, in continuation of this work, we will transfer at least 30 percent of the powers of financial, tax and employment agencies to the mahalla. It will be a convenient system that will simplify people's lives and improve the quality of services," the President said.
Representatives of the older generation noted that they were glad to see changes in their mahalla and in the country as a whole, read the dua.
The President also inspected a walking alley along Abdullah Kadiri Street, organized next to the mahalla. It was noted that this place will become another attraction for residents and foreign tourists.
