Over the years of independence, Uzbekistan has consistently ratified over 80 international documents in this area, implements measures to implement them into national legislation and law enforcement practice. Only in recent years, an Action Strategy has been implemented for five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, the Strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030", the Strategy for the Development of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, the National Strategy of Uzbekistan on Human Rights, as well as over 50 other concepts and programs are being implemented. 

The updated Basic Law of Uzbekistan reflects new norms for the creation of a strong parliament, a compact and responsible government, an independent and fair judicial system. The powers of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate are significantly expanded. The duplication of functions in the work of the two chambers has been eliminated, the scope of powers of each of them has been clearly defined. 

Today, Uzbekistan plays a key role in the development of regional interconnectedness, making a significant contribution to strengthening stability and security, as well as to the sustainable development of Central Asia. Moreover, our country has a successful political and diplomatic experience in conducting constructive dialogue and joint search for solutions to common problems.
