The President of Uzbekistan stressed the importance of early implementation of cooperation projects with Kyrgyzstan

Within the framework of the Tashkent Investment Forum program, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov.

Practical aspects of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz multifaceted cooperation were discussed.

The current high level of bilateral relations was noted with satisfaction. Intensive contacts continue, important economic projects and humanitarian programs are being implemented.

Recently, a renovated theater named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur was inaugurated in the city of Osh, a sports contest of athletes was successfully held in the city of Kokand. Careful preparations are underway for the Forum of Regions and the meeting of the Dialogue of Generations.

The Head of our state stressed the need to accelerate cooperation projects in the automotive industry, energy, transport infrastructure, and the creation of trading houses in the capitals.
