The President of Uzbekistan noted great opportunities for deepening practical cooperation with Tatarstan

As part of the development of large-scale interregional cooperation with the Russian Federation, on April 24, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The issues of implementation of priority investment projects and further deepening of cultural and humanitarian exchange were considered.

In the Tashkent region, during the present visit of the Russian delegation, a new project was launched – a technopark in the Jizzakh region.

In addition, major cooperation projects are being implemented

in the petrochemical industry and mechanical engineering. The activity of the branch of Kazan Federal University in the city of Jizzakh is expanding.

During the meeting, promising business partnership projects in various sectors of the economy, the development of existing and the opening of new industrial parks in other regions of the country, the adoption of cooperation programs in the field of innovation, small business and information technology, as well as in the field of modernization of utility networks were discussed.

The active participation of Tatarstan companies and enterprises as part of the delegation of Russian business circles in the work of the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia", taking place these days in the city of Tashkent.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of our state stressed the importance of organizing systematic work to promote joint programs and projects based on the roadmap.
