The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia discussed topical issues of trade and economic cooperation

Priority measures aimed at ensuring the dynamics of trade turnover and the implementation of joint cooperation projects were discussed during a telephone conversation between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, held on April 11.

Special attention was paid to the issue of effective use of the site of the International Industrial Exhibition "Innoprom", which will be held at the end of April this year in Tashkent, to promote practical cooperation at the level of business and regions of the two countries.

The fruitful cooperation within the framework of the cultural and humanitarian exchange program was noted with satisfaction.

The heads of Uzbekistan and Russia also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
