Industry is developing in the Syr Darya

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Omon Med Farm enterprise in Gulistan.

2 million 400 thousand packages of pharmaceutical products are produced here, mainly from local medicinal plants and raw materials.

Antibiotics, drugs in the form of tablets, ampoules and infusions produced by the company are delivered to hospitals and pharmacies. It is planned to export some of the products to neighboring countries. The company employs about a thousand people.

The head of our state got acquainted with the production process and further plans of the enterprise.

This limited liability company is developing in the form of a medical cluster. A polyclinic, a school and a university are being built under it.

The President instructed the responsible persons to assist the company in expanding the range and establishing the export of medicines.

Pharmaceutical products manufactured in the Syrdarya region were also presented here.

The launch ceremony of 6 new enterprises took place. These are limited liability companies "River Med Pharma", "Eurasia gas Concrete", "Modern Marble", "Peng Sheng Charm" in Syrdarya district, "Toshkent City Gold block" in Saikhunabad district and "Inter Trading Group" in Yangyere. Their leaders talked about their capabilities via video link.

It was noted that the company "River Med Pharma" will produce 42 million units of infusion medicines per year and will provide jobs for 250 people.

Eurasia Gas Concrete specializes in the production of building materials. 450 thousand cubic meters of aerated concrete will be produced here using Dutch technology and 100 jobs will be created.

Modern Marble is capable of producing 800 thousand square meters of marble slabs per year.

Peng Sheng Charm has the ability to produce 1.5 thousand square meters of genuine leather and 468 tons of gelatin per year. Most of these products are planned to be exported.

The projects of Toshkent City Gold Block and Inter Trading Group were implemented entirely at the expense of foreign direct investment. The first enterprise is capable of producing 300 thousand cubic meters of gas blocks, the second - 45 thousand tons of flour per year.

In general, about 600 jobs will be created at these enterprises, thanks to their activities, the production of the region will grow by 37 billion soums, exports – by almost 30 million dollars.
