Our country, famous for its humanism from time immemorial, celebrates Navruz

On March 21, festive celebrations dedicated to Navruz were held in the Yangi Uzbekistan Park.

A festive atmosphere has been created on the territory of the park. Screenings about Navruz-related traditions, exhibitions of national cultural centers have been organized.

The festive event was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Head of State cordially congratulated the people of our country.

– Today, everywhere in our country, in valleys and oases, towns and villages, in parks and squares, folk festivals dedicated to Navruz are held with great enthusiasm. In these charming moments, when joy overflows our hearts, I express to you, congratulating all compatriots from young to old, deep respect and best wishes," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

Navruz is the beginning of the new year according to the Eastern calendar, a holiday of awakening and renewal of nature. The philosophy and values of this holiday are in tune with the idea of a New Uzbekistan, according to which large-scale work is being carried out in our country to elevate honor and dignity, ensure the rights and interests of every person, create decent conditions for residents of all cities and districts. The economy and social sphere are developing comprehensively, much attention is paid to science, education, healthcare, culture and sports.

– To make the life of the people of Uzbekistan worthy in all respects, we are helped by the experience, wisdom and blessings of our respected veterans, venerable fathers and mothers, which fill us with strength and energy. The selfless work of our people, their support for the course of reforms are a support for us in bringing national development to a new, even higher level," the President noted.

The Head of our state thanked each of our compatriots for their worthy work for the good of the country. They expressed confidence that at the upcoming important political event next month, citizens will show a high political culture.

The successes of dehkans and farmers, athletes and youth of the country were also noted.

It was emphasized that good deeds based on the noble traditions of our people should be done not only in Navruz, but always, every day.

– Today we are creating a social and truly people's state in Uzbekistan, where kindness and mercy, generosity, mutual respect and consent will become the norm of life. We must ensure that every person in our country, which has been famous for its spiritual values and humanism for centuries, fully feels the attention and care of the people and the state," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The President congratulated the Muslims of our country, the entire Islamic Ummah of the world on the upcoming month of Ramadan.

The Head of State sincerely welcomed the ambassadors of foreign states, representatives of international organizations, and expressed good wishes to their countries and peoples.

The holiday continued with a big festive concert. Performances of folklore and ethnographic collectives and artists, national games and askia gave everyone a great mood.

The event was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, members of parliament and the government, guests from various regions of the country, representatives of the diplomatic corps operating in our country.

After the celebrations, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the exhibitions of national cultural centers and folk crafts. I talked to the visitors of the park and congratulated them on the holiday.
