Six new enterprises have been commissioned in Surkhandarya

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the limited liability company “Termez National Carpets” in the mahalla of Yangiobod of Termez district.

The company is capable of producing 2.2 million square meters of carpets per year. For this purpose, modern equipment from Germany, Belgium, Turkey has been installed. 150 new jobs have been created.

About half of the products are planned to be exported. 80 percent of the raw materials are localized. During the short period of operation of the enterprise, carpets and carpet products worth 255 thousand dollars were exported to Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. This year, it is planned to supply $ 4 million worth of products to foreign customers.

The company pays special attention to the use of alternative energy. The solar panels installed here power the external and internal lighting systems.

The Head of State got acquainted with the production process at the enterprise. I visited the exhibition of industrial goods produced in the region.

The launch ceremony of 6 new production facilities took place. Representatives of the Indenim Cluster enterprises in Termez, Fabullo Stroy Service in Jarkurgan district, Angor Baraka in Angora district, Termiz agro impeks in Termez district, a small industrial zone of building materials in Saryasi district and Tupalanga HPP presented information about their capabilities via video link.

The limited liability company "Indenim Cluster" in Termez specializes in the production of ready-made clothing made of cotton fiber. 400 new jobs have been created here.

The Fabullo Stroy Service enterprise in the Dzharkurgan district has mastered the production of autoclave gas blocks with a capacity of 75 thousand cubic meters per year, 80 new jobs have been created.

A handicraft center has been created in the shopping complex of the Angor Baraka Limited Liability Company in the Angora district. About 125 thousand units of finished sewing products, 50 types of national costumes and handicrafts will be produced here annually, about a thousand women will be provided with work.

The production of modern construction materials is organized in the small industrial zone of the Saryasi district.

The limited liability company "Termiz agro impeks" has built a freezing warehouse for 3 thousand tons and a modern greenhouse in the Termez district, providing work for 220 people.

As part of the modernization project of the Tupalanga HPP, its total capacity has been increased to 175 MW. This will generate 467 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year.

In general, these 6 enterprises will create 2,000 new jobs, their activities will add 370 billion soums to regional production and $ 20 million to exports.
