In Beijing, Uzbek diplomats met with the management of China Nonferrous Metal International Mining (CNFC) in order to establish cooperation on the organization of production cycles based on copper.
Chinese specialists were familiarized with the activities of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK), the Uzbek Refractory and Heat-resistant Metals Combine (UZKTZHM), as well as promising areas for cooperation in the production of copper-based products.
During the talks, the parties discussed the development of joint projects to diversify the production of copper products in Uzbekistan for further export to third countries.
Founded in 1983, CNPC is a Chinese corporation engaged in the extraction of non-ferrous metals, which has so far implemented more than 15 major projects in 10 countries.
