which humanity has been facing in recent years in addition to the fight against the pandemic.
"Their scale is growing and poses a serious threat to the security and sustainable development of not only individual states, but also entire regions," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
It was noted that in this regard, Uzbekistan stands for strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Global Platform to achieve the main goals of the Sendai Program
until 2030.
In order to thoroughly study the causes of such emergencies and effectively prevent their consequences, the President of our country proposed to create a special Monitoring and scientific Research Network of the Non-Aligned Movement.
The Head of our state stressed that in the post-pandemic period, geopolitical and ideological contradictions have intensified, under the influence of which
new hotbeds of instability are emerging in different regions of the world.
"Global solutions to the conflicts that have persisted for a long time in the Middle East and Afghanistan have not yet been found," the leader of Uzbekistan noted.
The increasing urgency of expanding practical cooperation within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement in the context of the threat of terrorism and extremism that has recently been increasing in all countries was emphasized.
With this in mind, they expressed confidence that the Non-Aligned Movement should lead efforts to strengthen the international legal framework for combating all manifestations of terrorism. This will further enhance the multilateral cooperation of all member States of the Movement within the framework of the UN.
The leader of Uzbekistan pointed out that
the main role should belong to the United Nations and its specialized structures in the system coordination and effective solution of these problems at the international level.

Such important events will help accelerate the exchange of innovations, modern knowledge and advanced technologies and, in general, create a solid foundation
for the fourth industrial revolution, in particular, the development of a "smart" economy.
The President of Uzbekistan noted that the negative impact of the pandemic primarily affects the younger generation. The opportunities for young
people to receive high-quality education and professions, medical services and sports are sharply reduced.
- It is especially disturbing that the younger generation is losing confidence that in the future it will be able to take a worthy place in life. The influence of destructive
and radical ideologies on the consciousness of thousands of young people is also increasing," the head of Uzbekistan said.
The intention was expressed to organize next year a "Summit of Limitless Opportunities" of the Youth Network of the Non–Aligned Movement in one of the centers of world civilization - ancient Samarkand, in order to harmonize policies and plans, exchange accumulated experience in this direction.
