President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Baku

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Baku on March 1 on a working visit at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyubov and other officials met the head of our state at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

A meeting of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will be held today, during which the leaders will discuss the practical implementation of previously reached agreements.

A summit of one of the largest international structures, the Non-Aligned Movement, will be held in Baku tomorrow, March 2. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will speak at the plenary session of the event.
