The official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Egypt has begun

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Cairo on an official visit.

The national flags of the two countries were raised at the international airport of the Egyptian capital for the meeting of the head of our state, an honor guard was lined up.

The Leader of Uzbekistan was met and sincerely welcomed by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. A short meeting of the heads of state took place.

Today, the head of our state will visit the Cairo Nilometer, erected by our ancestors - the great scientist Ahmad Ferghani, will get acquainted with the exposition of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. A meeting will be held with the heads of leading companies and financial structures of this country.

The main events of the visit, including high-level talks, are scheduled for tomorrow, February 21.
