The number of higher educational institutions is growing in Jizzakh

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the branch of Kazan Federal University in the city of Jizzakh.

This university is one of the oldest higher educational institutions in Russia and covers a large number of areas of study. Its Jizzakh branch opened last year and currently enrolls 325 students. In general, the institution is designed for 1 thousand 88 students.

It trains specialists in 11 areas such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, medical biochemistry, journalism, economics, geology, linguistics, software engineering, information systems and technologies, technological processes and production automation.

The Head of our state instructed to allocate an additional building to the institution and expand its material and technical capabilities.
