Head of State visits IT Park in Fergana

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the IT Park in the city of Fergana to review the conditions created there.

The complex was built in line with instructions given during the President’s visit in August 2024. Constructed with 150 billion soums from the state budget, it can accommodate up to 200 people at a time. It provides opportunities to train and engage more than 3,000 young people annually in practical projects, as well as to deliver IT services.

The center features a modern co-working environment for freelancers and programmers, while fully equipped offices are provided for resident companies. Education, production, and service processes are integrated here. The established infrastructure expands opportunities for youth self-employment and helps them earn a stable income.

In recent years, the volume of IT services in the Fergana region has increased fourfold, with exports exceeding 23 million dollars. The number of IT Park residents has reached 139, while exports of IT services amounted to 22.7 million dollars in 2025.

Under the new IT Park initiative, plans are in place to increase the number of residents to 200, create 700 new jobs, expand service volumes, and raise exports to 30 million dollars.

In the future, an artificial intelligence technology hub is planned to be established at the complex, along with projects aimed at the digitalization of management systems. Modern training courses in AI, programming, graphic design, computer literacy, and English are also planned. Venture financing, grants, and startup acceleration programs will be introduced for startups.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with park residents and young IT professionals, expressing support for their initiatives and ideas.
