President reviews Fergana’s industrial and investment potential

On the second day of his visit to the Fergana region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the work of the Investor Service Center in the city of Fergana.

The Fargona Expo International Exhibition Center has been established to promote the region’s economic potential, expand industrial cooperation, boost exports, and create favorable conditions for investment.

The center serves not only as an exhibition venue but also as a unified communication platform for entrepreneurs and investors.

The five-hectare complex provides facilities to showcase the products of more than 200 manufacturing enterprises.

The first two floors of the new eight-story building are designated for organizations supporting trade, investment, and entrepreneurship, while the upper floors provide office space for investors and business representatives.

The center hosts year-round exhibitions and fairs across 15 industry sectors, offering a unified platform for government agencies, manufacturers, exporters, and investors to engage and establish practical cooperation.

Given the effectiveness of the Fergana model, plans are underway to develop similar modern exhibition complexes in Tashkent and the Bukhara, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions.

The Head of State viewed expositions reflecting the region’s industrial and service potential. Products from sectors including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, jewelry, leather and footwear, handicrafts, medicine, and pharmaceuticals were presented.

A presentation of major investment projects of strategic importance to the region was also held. The President spoke with investors.
