Chinese companies are showing interest in the IT park and the Syrdarya Free Economic Zone.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing and the Consulate General in Guangzhou organized a business forum in Guangdong Province dedicated to investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.

The event aimed to further develop interregional cooperation. Representatives of Guangdong Province ministries and agencies, chambers of commerce and industry, business circles, and leading companies participated in the forum.

The forum noted that relations between the countries are developing actively and steadily. In recent years, mutual visits by delegations and various economic events have increased significantly. Participants expressed their readiness to facilitate investment in the Uzbek economy and expand the export of high-quality national products.

Attendees were briefed on priority areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment, and tourism, the positive dynamics in these areas, major joint projects underway, and plans to expand economic ties.

Particular attention was paid to the presentation of the Syrdarya Region. The presentation covered the region's economic potential, key industries, the activities of the Syr Darya Free Economic Zone, tax and customs incentives, new investment projects, and tourism opportunities.
