On March 16, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Data Processing Center of the State Tax Committee.
In order to create convenience for the population and business, to minimize the human factor, consistent digitalization is also carried out in the system of tax authorities. Thus, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 30, 2020, the specified center was completely modernized. At the expense of 100 billion soums from the state budget, the buildings were repaired and equipped with uninterruptible power supply devices, precision air conditioners, high-capacity servers and computers.
As a result, the capacity of the center has increased by 8 times, the coverage of electronic services has expanded. Complex processes, such as the calculation of balance lines on personal cards, accelerated 10 times. For example, if earlier the calculation of republican indicators took 24 hours, now this process is carried out in 2-3 hours. Increasing the speed of data processing is becoming an important factor in reducing the shadow economy.
Cyberattack protection and business intelligence technologies have been introduced. New software products have been developed, such as "e-ijara", "e-imtiyoz", "Value added tax payers", "Tax audits", "Automated Desk control System", "Tax Gap coefficient".
This center can be called the "brain" of the domestic tax system. The data of all taxpayers is integrated here. About 50 qualified specialists provide real-time tracking of tax turnover and promptly provide remote services.
The Head of State got acquainted with the work of the center. He gave instructions to improve the efficiency of the tax authorities.
