A training center for the automotive industry will be established in Syrdarya.

During a visit to China, a delegation from Gulistan State University, led by Rector Mukhsin Khodjiev, met with the leadership of the Beifang Automotive Education Group, a vocational and technical educational institution specializing in the automotive industry.

The talks focused on developing mutually beneficial cooperation in education, scientific and practical interaction, exchange of experience, and personnel training. Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Gulistan State University and Beifang Automotive Education Group.

The document aims to develop vocational education in the automotive industry, strengthen the integration of education and industry, and train highly qualified specialists. The memorandum provides for the establishment of an automotive training center at Gulistan State University that meets international standards, equipping it with modern laboratories and educational infrastructure, and jointly developing curricula and teaching materials.

Furthermore, it is planned to gradually implement mechanisms for faculty and specialist exchanges, organize advanced training and internships in China, and jointly certify graduates and award international qualifications. The implementation of the memorandum will facilitate the development of academic mobility for faculty and students, as well as the implementation of joint projects.

During the visit, the delegation members were provided with detailed information about the facilities, modern laboratories, and scientific and innovative activities of the Beifang Vocational and Technical Educational Institution, and were given a hands-on demonstration of its capabilities.
