A solemn welcoming ceremony held for the President of Turkmenistan

An official welcoming ceremony was held at Tashkent-Humo International Airport for President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in our country on a state visit.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited the distinguished guest to the podium.

The military band played the national anthems of both countries. The guard of honor marched solemnly before the heads of state.

The presidents greeted the members of the official delegations.

The main events of the visit will take place tomorrow, November 17.

During the high-level talks, issues of further strengthening Uzbek-Turkmen strategic partnership relations and deepening multifaceted cooperation will be discussed.
