President of Uzbekistan discusses prospects of cooperation with BNY

As part of the business program of the visit to New York City, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the chief commercial officer of BNY Cathinka Wahlstrom.

BNY is a leading American banking and investment group providing a wide range of financial services, including asset management, custody and servicing of securities, as well as public and private financing services.

The bank’s plans to assist in the issuance and placement of Eurobonds of major Uzbek enterprises, as well as in the development of Uzbekistan’s banking and financial sector, were supported.
