President of Uzbekistan arrives in the city of Kazan

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on a working visit to the city of Kazan.

In the airport the President was met by the Head (Rais) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, governor of Kazan city Ilsur Mersin and other officials. 

Today the President of Uzbekistan will hold a range of bilateral meetings and participate in protocol events of BRICS summit. 

Tomorrow the main meeting of the summit will be held in the “BRICS plus” format.
