President of Uzbekistan meets with the President of Iran

On the sidelines of the International Forum in Ashgabat, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.

The current issues of further development of Uzbek-Iranian multifaceted relations were considered.

Ongoing active contacts and fruitful exchanges were noted with satisfaction. Trade turnover indicators and the number of joint ventures are growing.

The heads of state stressed the importance of supporting and promptly implementing cooperation projects, expanding the list of products within the framework of the Preferential Trade Agreement.

The leaders of Uzbekistan and Iran also exchanged views on international and regional agenda.
