The President of Uzbekistan called for the effective realization of the potential of interregional cooperation with China

On September 5, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the People's Republic of China headed by Chen Min'er, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Party Committee of the city of Tianjin.

At the beginning of the meeting, Chen Min'er conveyed to the head of our state the sincere greetings and best wishes of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

The issues of further deepening Uzbek-Chinese multifaceted cooperation and practical interaction in accordance with the agreements at the highest level, primarily within the framework of an active interregional dialogue, were considered.

The highest level of Uzbek-Chinese friendship relations and all-weather strategic partnership achieved in recent years was noted with deep satisfaction.

Special attention is paid to the promotion of cooperation projects with leading companies in Tianjin in the fields of trade, industry, green energy, construction and modernization of infrastructure, agriculture, textile, pharmaceutical and other industries.

The importance of expanding innovative, educational and cultural exchange programs was emphasized.

An agreement has been reached on the adoption of a roadmap for mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and the city of Tianjin.
