Work on the study of facts and events in Karakalpakstan will continue

Members of the Commission for the Study of the Facts and Events that Occurred in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in July 2022 continue to work on the study.

The Commission, in order to fulfill the tasks facing it, conducts studies, divided into groups. In order to ensure transparency of the activities of each group, the work carried out is documented. Including, it is fixed with the help of audio, photo and video means.
The members of the Commission first talked with patients being treated at the Central Hospital, a branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medicine of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and studied the facts related to the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person in the events that took place.
Conversations were also held with military personnel, employees of internal affairs bodies who are being treated at the military hospital of the North-Western Military District and the military hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. During the conversation, the actions of demonstrators and military personnel were studied.
In addition, members of the Commission visited the Center for Forensic Medical Examination of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and got acquainted with all the necessary materials related to the events.
Studies of members of the Commission are ongoing.
