Antonio Guterres was awarded the Order of "Oliy Darajali Dystlik"

A solemn ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence to present one of the highest state awards of Uzbekistan – the Order of Oliy Darajali Dystlik to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for actively promoting solidarity and unity in the world, increasing the effectiveness of the organization's activities, as well as strengthening cooperation between our country and the UN.

Presenting the award, the head of our state emphasized the personal contribution of A. Guterres to achieving a modern unprecedented high level of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Nations.

The Secretary-General's full support for Uzbekistan's large-scale reforms and initiatives of global and regional importance in our country, as well as the expansion of the activities of UN institutions in the republic, was emphasized.

The long-term efforts of the head of the United Nations to strengthen international security and stability, reform global governance institutions, promote Sustainable Development Goals, combat climate change, ensure green and digital development, food and energy security were noted.
