The President of Uzbekistan noted the development of Uzbek-Russian interparliamentary relations

On April 7, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko.

At the beginning of the conversation, the head of our state cordially congratulated Valentina Matvienko on her birthday, sincerely wishing her good health, prosperity and great success.

The active role of the parliaments of the two countries in expanding and strengthening Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, the implementation of agreements at the highest level were noted with particular satisfaction.

At the end of the conversation, the importance of further development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, including within the framework of international and regional organizations, was stressed.
