The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation

At the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Kazan on February 21 to participate in the opening ceremony of the "Games of the Future".

The program of the visit provides for a bilateral meeting of the heads of the two states, during which issues of implementing the high-level agreements reached following the official visit to Russia on October 5-7, 2023, as well as further deepening relations of comprehensive strategic partnership will be discussed.

It should be noted that the "Games of the Future", held for the first time in the Russian Federation from February 21 to March 3, are competitions combining classic sports, scientific developments and digital technologies.

227 teams from 107 countries of the world, including athletes from Uzbekistan, will take part in the large-scale sports competition.
