The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Belarus attended a hockey match at the Humo Arena

As part of the official visit program, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited the Humo Arena Ice Palace in Tashkent.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the Belarusian leader at the sports complex.

The meeting at the ice palace has a deep symbolic meaning. Alexander Lukashenko is a great hockey fan, pays special attention to the development of this sport in Belarus, and has personally participated in hockey matches more than once.

Uzbekistan is also doing a lot of work on the development of winter sports, including hockey. In 2019, at the initiative of the head of our state, the multifunctional sports complex "Humo Arena" was built. The Tashkent Humo team successfully performs at international and continental tournaments, including playing with the Neman club from Grodno, Belarus.

During the visit, the Presidents watched a match between hockey teams from Tashkent "Humo" and "Nomad" from Astana. At the end of the meeting, the distinguished guests were presented with a personalized hockey uniform.
