The President of Belarus will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay an official visit to our country on February 7-9.

In accordance with the program of the visit, it is planned to hold high-level negotiations, during which practical aspects of further expansion of Uzbek-Belarusian multifaceted cooperation will be considered.

The focus of attention is on issues of increasing mutual trade turnover, developing cooperative ties in such sectors as agriculture, light and food industries, pharmaceuticals, communications and others.

Partnership development programs in the fields of vocational education, healthcare, culture, sports and tourism will also be discussed.

Following the negotiations, it is planned to adopt a package of bilateral documents.

It should be noted that these days, on the eve of the visit, a number of business events are taking place in Tashkent with the participation of the regions and business circles of the two countries - the second Interregional Forum and a meeting of the Business Council.
