The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Wu Fulin, Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of China, as part of the program of his visit to Beijing.
The Export-Import Bank of China was founded in 1994. It has assets worth more than $800 billion. It is China's leading financial institution for supporting foreign trade and international economic cooperation.
It was noted with satisfaction that the portfolio of joint projects in our country has reached $3.5 billion. The bank intends to open a regional office in the city of Tashkent and prepare new promising projects for the development of transport and social infrastructure, industry and the private sector.
