The President of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the sights of St. Petersburg

On December 26, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the palace and park complexes of St. Petersburg as part of the cultural program of the informal CIS summit.

The Head of our state, together with the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, visited the Pavlovsk, Tsarskoye Selo and Peterhof nature reserves.

Created during the XVIII-XIX centuries, all three historical monuments are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, recognized as masterpieces of architecture and landscape art.

During the excursions, the heads of state were told in detail about the history of the palaces, their decoration and art collections. A classical music concert and folklore performances are presented to the distinguished guests.
