The issues of further strengthening Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of friendship, good neighborliness and comprehensive strategic partnership, filling them with specific content were considered.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubayev conveyed to the head of our state the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.
The Leader of Uzbekistan noted with deep satisfaction the high level and fruitful nature of bilateral cooperation achieved in recent years, including the marked intensification of contacts and exchanges at the level of parliaments, governments, regions, the public and business circles.
The Intergovernmental Commission is working effectively, and the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund is fully functioning. The volume of trade and cargo transportation is growing, cooperation projects are being implemented in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, textile, agricultural and other industries. Joint cultural and humanitarian events are regularly held.
The importance of continuing an intensive political dialogue and accelerating the implementation of priority programs and projects, including the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, was emphasized.
