The opening ceremony of the monument symbolizing the fight against corruption took place in Tashkent

On December 19, the opening ceremony of the monument embodying the efforts of the international community to combat corruption took place on the territory of the Tashkent City International Business Center.

The ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The event was also attended by UN Assistant Secretary-General Alexander Zuev and officials from foreign countries.

The twelve-meter transparent metal composition in the form of an upward-pointing hand with open fingers means honesty and purity of deeds and thoughts, absolute rejection of corruption and a call to countries around the world to unite in the fight against it.
