The President of Uzbekistan and the King of Malaysia discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation

On December 1, on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with King of Malaysia Sultan Abdullah Riayatuddin Al-Mustafa Bilah Shah.

The issues of further development of Uzbek-Malaysian relations, primarily in the economic sphere, were considered.

The intensification of bilateral contacts was noted with satisfaction.

The volume of mutual trade is growing, cooperation projects are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, as well as programs in the field of pilgrimage tourism.

In order to fill the partnership agenda with concrete practical content, an agreement was reached to hold a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and a joint business forum next year.
