On November 29, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Topical issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed, including the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level visit to the Russian Federation on October 5-7 this year.
The leaders of the two countries noted with satisfaction the consistent strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance,
as well as the expansion of multifaceted cooperation.
The dynamics of the growth of mutual trade turnover indicators is maintained, cooperation projects are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, fruitful interregional contacts are developing. On the eve of the Jizzakh region, a large joint agrologistic complex was launched.
The heads of Uzbekistan and Russia also welcomed the active cultural and humanitarian exchange and ongoing programs in the field of healthcare.
