The working visit of the President of Uzbekistan has ended

The program of events of the working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Baku has ended.

Today, on November 24, the head of our state took part in the first summit of the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia and put forward practical initiatives to further strengthen regional cooperation within SPECA.

Bilateral talks were also held with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The leaders discussed issues of further strengthening of Uzbek-Azerbaijani friendship relations and strategic partnership, including the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.

At the end of the visit, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyubov and other officials conducted the President of Uzbekistan at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The head of our state has left for Tashkent.
