The working visit to Kazakhstan has ended

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has completed his working visit to Astana to participate in the summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

At the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the organization, the leader of Uzbekistan noted the main results of our country's chairmanship in the organization, expressed his vision of priorities for further development of the structure and strengthening cooperation between the Turkic states, put forward a number of important proposals and initiatives. 

As part of the summit's program of events, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was solemnly awarded the "Supreme Order of the Turkic World" for his outstanding contribution to strengthening the unity of the Turkic family, actively promoting the interests and views of the Turkic countries in the international arena.

At the end of the program of stay, the head of our state left for Tashkent. The President of Uzbekistan was escorted to the airport by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.
