At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Astana on November 2-3 to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
The agenda of the summit includes issues of further development of multilateral cooperation within the Organization, primarily in trade and economic, investment, transport and communication, environmental, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
The heads of delegations will also exchange views on topical issues of international politics and regional cooperation.
Following the results of the event, it is planned to adopt a number of joint documents.
It should be noted that the Republic of Uzbekistan is chairing the Organization of Turkic States this year.
More than 100 significant events have been held aimed at further deepening multifaceted cooperation.
The members of the Organization are the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey, observers are Hungary and Turkmenistan.
