The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States

On October 30, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

The results of the joint work carried out within the framework of the chairmanship of Uzbekistan and the issues of preparation for the upcoming summit of the Organization were considered.

It should be noted that over the past year, the multilateral partnership of the Turkic states has acquired a new dynamic. More than 100 events have been held, and a number of new platforms for practical interaction have been created.

Uzbekistan has also become a full member of the International Organization of Turkic Culture.

During the meeting, issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of OTG in the fields of trade, "green" economy, investment, innovation, transport and logistics, tourism, ecology, youth policy, popularization of the cultural and historical heritage of the Turkic peoples were discussed.
