On October 30, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a number of facilities in Tashkent in order to familiarize himself with the preparations for the autumn-winter season, improve transport infrastructure, and carry out creative and landscaping work.
Today, the issues of preventing problems in the functioning of infrastructure, ensuring the quality and safety of roads in adverse weather and temperature conditions are of urgent importance. These tasks are under the constant attention of the President.
The Head of State began familiarization with the work carried out in this direction with a visit to the construction of an overpass leading to Tashkent International Airport.
Located on Babur Street, the overpass passes over the railway lines and the Small Ring Road. A new bridge has been erected in addition to the existing one to increase the convenience of traffic and increase the capacity. It is made using prefabricated monolithic technology.
After completion of the work, the total width of the bridge will reach 46 meters, the capacity will grow to 20 thousand units of cars per day. Now this figure was about 9-10 thousand.
