The President of Uzbekistan received the US delegation

On October 23, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a US delegation headed by Administrator of the Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power.

The American side is in our country to participate in the work of the Ministerial Meeting of the Central Asian countries and the United States on development issues.

The issues of further development of constructive and mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation were discussed.

It should be noted that together with USAID, projects in the field of healthcare, education, green energy, agribusiness and other areas have been implemented and are being implemented in Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the summit of heads of state in the C5+1 format on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York in September this year.
