At the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife arrived in Beijing on a working visit.

At the international airport "Shoudu", the head of our state was met by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the People's Republic of China Wang Xiangxi and other officials. 

In honor of the distinguished guests, the national flags of the two countries were raised and an honor guard was lined up.

During the visit, talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chairman of the People's Political Consultative Council of China Wang Huning and other bilateral meetings are scheduled for October 17-18.

The leader of Uzbekistan will take part in the opening of the International Forum "One Belt, One Road", within the framework of which he will make a speech at the plenary session.
