The President of Uzbekistan will pay a working visit to China

At the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Beijing on October 17-18 to participate in the events of the Third International Forum "One Belt, One Road".

The agenda of the anniversary summit includes issues of further development of trade and economic cooperation, strengthening of transport and communication interconnectedness, promotion of "green" development programs, digitalization and others. The main results of the multilateral partnership over the past ten years will be summed up, as well as new tasks of interaction for the future will be identified.

It is expected that the head of our state will deliver a keynote speech at the plenary session of the forum and outline his vision of topical issues of international cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road initiative.

The program of the visit also provides for holding talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chairman of the People's Political Consultative Council of China Wang Huning, and other bilateral meetings.
