The working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Bishkek to participate in the summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States has ended. The head of our state has left for Tashkent.
At the Manas International Airport, the Head of our state was conducted by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov and other officials.
Today, the President of Uzbekistan took part in the regular meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State and put forward a number of important initiatives to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation within the Commonwealth.
For his outstanding contribution to the strengthening of friendship, good–neighborliness and multifaceted cooperation, the leader of Uzbekistan was awarded the highest award of the organization - the CIS Badge of Honor.
On the sidelines of the summit, the President of our country held a meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
